    Nocturnal Adventures and Platypus Spotting

    Post tea, catch a glimpse of the elusive Platypus, one of nature's most unusual creations, at a private viewing area in Yungaburra. This semiaquatic mammal is one of the few venomous ones, with males capable of delivering a painful blow. After a hearty dinner in Yungburra, it's time for a nocturnal escapade in the rainforest. As you step into the mysterious world of night-dwelling creatures, expect to see the Lumholtz's tree-kangaroo, renown for their agile tree-climbing skills, and the northern leaf-tailed gecko, remarkedly effective at camouflage with leaf-like tails.
