Visiting the Belvedere Palace was one of the highlights of my trip. The combination ticket made entry to both the Upper and Lower Belvedere very convenient and well organized. The palaces themselves are stunning, with beautiful architecture and impressive art collections. I especially enjoyed the peaceful gardens connecting the two palaces — perfect for photos and relaxing walks. The famous artworks and elegant rooms made the visit both inspiring and memorable. The two belvederes are magnificent. Very fine exhibition of paintings and sculptures. One small regret is that there are only a few well-preserved rooms. But those that are are beautiful. Allow a good 2 hours in total. We were in winter, so the park is a bit dull, but in spring and summer it must be magnificent. On the other hand, the organization from fast to high was really impractical: first we received the ticket for the second entrance, and only then the ticket for the first entrance. Fortunately, the guard was nice.

I loved the exhibition and the lady at the ticket desk was very nice; I enjoyed my day at the upper Belvedere palace. On the other hand, I did not enjoy my experience with Headout. I wanted to book for 11:00 and so I did when I went online with headout but when I received the confirmation, it was for another time slot ( I think for 10:15). I had to reschedule and I got confirmation for 11:00 so I thought everything was fine and booked for something else in the afternoon but when I paid, the reservation had again changed for 11:45! The lady at the desk was very nice but she said that, since it was booked by Headout and not them, she couldn't change the time on our tickets. We wasted 45 minutes because of Headout.

Upper Belvedere Palace

Facilities: Wheelchair Accessibility, Guide Dog Accommodation & Cloakroom.

With this ticket, skip the line to the ticket counter/box office and head straight to the museum entrance!

Rental fees: Permanent collection tour €5.00, Austrian sign language multimedia guide permanent collection € 2.00.

For reasons of hygiene, please use personal headphones (standard 3.5 mm connection). As an alternative, disposable headphones are provided.

The parking lot for people with disabilities is located right next to the entrance gate of the Upper Belvedere, Prinz Eugen-Straße 27.

Note: With your time slot ticket you book a fixed access time to the museum. The duration of your stay is unlimited.

The Upper Belvedere's north and west facades are set to undergo renovations from April 2024. Scaffolding will be disguised with a net replicating the facade. The entrance and access to the venue will remain unaffected.
