A musical evening with Wiener Hofburg Orchestra
Enjoy an evening listening to Mozart and Strauss’ greatest masterpieces performed by the famous Wiener Hofburg Orchestra in Vienna! Listen to Don Giovanni, The Magic Flute, and much more by Mozart, and Morgenblätter and Künstlerleben by Strauss. Witness these 40 outstanding members perform captivating renditions of the composers’ works accompanied by ballet, vocal performances, and lilting solos from renowned international soloists. The program also features the most famous waltz and operetta melodies by Franz Lehar and Gaetano Donizetti.
The perfect venue – Hofburg Ceremonial Hall & Mozart Hall
Take in the romantic atmosphere of the night seated in the hall of the Vienna Imperial Palace, which was built between 1802 and 1806 under Emperor Franz I. Admire the classical style of the interiors with a magnificent coffered ceiling supported by 24 round columns made of artificial marble. Experience the classical side of Vienna in the most beautiful ceremonial hall in the city. The Mozart Hall, being the second largest hall in the Vienna Konzerthaus, combines tradition with modernity. The spacious interior with 704 seats, divided into the ground floor and balcony, is the perfect venue for a memorable concert.

Winter season performances (December to January) will feature four singers instead of the ballet, offering a unique twist to the experience.

Concert venues change with the seasons. From May to October, the performance takes place at the renowned Konzerthaus Mozartsaal (Lothringerstr. 20, 1030 Wien), while from November to April, the concert is held in the grand Hofburg (Imperial Palace) Festsaal (Heldenplatz, 1010 Wien).
