    The Ajuda National Palace is a Portuguese national monument, located in the friguesia of Ajuda in the city of Lisbon. Its construction began in the late 18th century in order to replace the Real Barraca, a royal residence so called since it was built entirely of wood. Not far from the Belem neighborhood, the palace is definitely worth a visit.

    It's an original museum, this type of museum is not common. There are lots of carriages of different models. A must-see!

    We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in this Museum. Authentic Carriages and plenty of them. So amazing to look at and read the history of each one. They are very ornate and big. Definitely recommend a visit here.
