I was really surprised how beautiful Tottnesr Island is. The staff on the ferry from Perthto Rottnest and return were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the bus tour in the afternoon. The driver was so knowledgeable and explained a lot about the island. We were surprised to learn that the island has its own desalination plant. Also that they generate their own electricity. We saw quokkas in the village and also out in the brush. The only negative thing was the number of people riding bicycles. Adults and children alike. They had no consideration for people walking. Especially elderly people.

Very smooth journey across to the island, and back. Lots of time to explore on our own and friendly staff that pointed us in the right direction for the bus tour. The driver was informative, knowledgeable and very affable, a delight. We were given lots of facts but in a fun way.

The guided tour was lovely, the bus driver was very informative. I was encouraged to use the app., which was not helpful at all. We were confused WHERE to catch the bus and WHAT TIME. There could be an improvement made. Even the info centre at the harbour gave poor directions. The ferry ride was good. We had a pleasant day.

To be fair the trip was good however there were a few points that need addressing. The coach is basically a bus similar to public transit and the thin seating to sit on for 1.5 hours is hard on your backside and some seating positions don't allow for persons 180cms with long legs and cramped foot positions. The most annoying thing is no fault of the company however they need to be aware that people spending $120 for a tour do not want to listen to the chatter of others, in our group we had two separated groups of what appeared to be multi cultural people all talking in their own languages across the narration of the bus driver. This was most annoying and could of been stopped in its tracks by asking people to respect the narration of the tour and talk quietly if they have to rather than if they were in a fruit market etc. They were part of a big group and poorly managed by the Australian supervisors as well.
