We have visited many aquariums around the world. And this one in Lisbon surprised and delighted us. It has an unusual format, where the aquarium itself is located as if on an island surrounded by water. Inside, everything is built in a circle, so you walk along a huge glass aquarium and at times find yourself in different corners of the planet - Asia, Africa, America, etc. At times, it feels like you are under the open sky. And it is really impressive. We also discovered new species of fish that we had never seen before. And a huge plus - there are areas for relaxation and entertainment for children everywhere. The cost is absolutely reasonable, we recommend a visit!

Sure, the Lisboa Card is really convenient for public transportation, and it also makes getting into attractions easier. The price for a 1- or 2-day pass isn’t exactly a bargain, precisely because you can’t visit that many attractions in just a few days—they’re often quite far apart—and you’ll still have to wait in line, even if the lines are shorter! In March… imagine what it’s like in August!! And then if you lose it, like I did...!!! Luckily, I only went missing for half a day.

The oceanarium was amazing. It is well organized with an extensive variety of species. The cable car was so-so..just a short ride but a different viewpoint.i travelled with a two year old..he enjoyed it. The hotel restaurant has great views and an interesting decor.nice relaxing place to have a drink. Note: you have to download tickets in the oceanarium app and the cable car app.

Unfortunately, the priority access to the Jerónimos Monastery didn't work out, since a long line had already formed in front of the monastery and everyone had a Lisboa Card. I would recommend booking a timed entry slot online. Using public transportation went really smoothly.

It is very convenient for public transportation. You have to be organized to be able to redeem it and pay attention to which attractions are not operational. It is not practical the need to exchange it to have it physically, since in my case it implied having to wait in line for the first time to exchange it. And it didn't save me from queuing at the monuments because so many people had the Lisbon card that even if I didn't have to buy the ticket, there were also queues to pass it through the automatic readers. I would buy it again because it saved me money, which was the main objective.

It’s a delightful outing and an unforgettable experience. The venue is air-conditioned to a very comfortable temperature. Everything is spotlessly clean. The lighting is perfect for making the seabed even more captivating in this vivid, lifelike experience. The interactive technology surprised us; the sounds of the animals and the realistic images truly immerse you in the ocean. Thank you to the aquarium staff, who were attentive and helpful to us and our baby. Oh, there’s an area with interactive lights that my baby loved watching and participating in. From the moment we walked in, the massive central tank immediately captured our attention. The kids were absolutely mesmerized watching sharks, rays, and colorful fish glide peacefully through the water. What made it even better was how the exhibits are designed—you can see different parts of the same tank from multiple levels, which kept the experience fresh as we moved through the space. Museums and national monuments are closed on Mondays.

National monuments and museums are closed on January 1, Easter Sunday, May 1, December 24 and 25, and on municipal holidays (June 13 in Lisbon and June 29 in Sintra).
