Hiroshima is a great city to travel to, for trekking through dense forests or enjoying natural hot springs. Unsurprisingly, the city is also a foodie heaven, and the best way to explore this side of Hiroshima is by going on this 3-hour food tour, led by a local guide!
Your tour begins with meeting your guide and walking through the streets and shopping arcades of downtown Hiroshima. Along the way, stop by famous eateries and try the dishes this city has become famous for throughout Japan. Apart from the classic Hiroshima-Style Okonomiyaki, your guide will introduce you to local snacks, and get you to taste spicy Tsukemen that is a hit with ramen lovers everywhere. Enter a “village-inside-a-building” of teppanyaki yumminess and end your tour with a surprising old-meets-new dessert stop.

- The tour goes on every day except Wednesday, from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM
- Make sure to reach the meeting point by 4:15 PM to avoid delays
- The minimum drinking age is 21 years
- Wear comfortable shoes as there is plenty of walking involved
- Unfortunately, this tour is not wheelchair accessible
