The gallery was amazing especially the iconic Klimt. The bonus was the beautiful palace where the paintings were displayed. The gardens too were a beautiful stroll.

    The Upper Belvedere

For an artistic retreat, the Upper Belvedere is the perfect getaway! The Upper Belvedere is one of the most prominent museums across the globe, with famous art collections dating back to the Middle Ages. Highlights include the world's largest collection of Gustav Klimt paintings (including The Kiss and Judith), famous works from the periods of Austrian Baroque, French Impressionism, Viennese Biedermeier, and from Vienna around 1900. You can also admire works by Austrian artists like Rueland Frueauf the Elder, Elena Luksch-Makowsky, and Helene Funke, apart from international artists like Vincent van Gogh, Claude Monet, and Auguste Rodin.
