Tour of the museum was very nice, tour guide was professional and shared good/important facts not only about the place/grounds but also about its history and the paintings in the museum themselves, tour lasted about 1 1/2 hours and would have been nice if it was a bit longer. Would recommend it to first time visitors.

It was amazing to see The Kiss! It was definitely a dream, and I loved that it wasn't too crowded, we got to take cute photos in front of it (I was scared it would be packed with people and we would hardly be even to come close)

Four of us went to the Upper Belvedere Palace. We arrived 30 minutes before our reservation, but we had to wait half an hour to be let in. The interior was quite beautiful; the "Kiss" painting and the portrait of Napoleon were especially magnificent.

Enter through the Upper Belvedere’s main entrance and present your ticket for direct access. This UNESCO-listed palace is a stunning example of Baroque architecture.

What to expect

Originally built as a summer residence for Prince Eugene of Savoy, the Upper Belvedere is now home to Austria’s most celebrated art collection. Its grand halls and marble staircases create a striking backdrop for centuries of European art.
