Outside the museum (goodness knows what happens on cold wet days) we had to line up with military precision or like prisoners in a camp and wait for our allotted time for entry came. Then the assistance inside the Belvedere barked at us about putting bags in the lockers which was causing a problem as there was great kerfuffles over not having the right change for the lockers. The wonderfully curated art more than made up for these petty indignities. A thrill to see these paintings some of the very famous close up and see the brush work almost like seeing the artist at work. The narrative of late nineteenth century western art and the explosion of creativity the beginning of the twentieth century was palpably laid out. Wow...

Upper palace is amazing, staff are helpful and polite. Well worth the visit. Fabulous architecture. The ceilings inside are gorgeous ( big fan of looking up). Paintings galore and some fab sculpture. Spent hours there. Dont bother with the lower palace. Some of the staff are outright rude and frankly theres not much to see. One corridor of paintings, 2 rooms and some medieval art in the stables. Thats all. Not worth the entry fee or the walk, but must say the fountains en route are lovely so the walk wasnt a total loss.

All set, time chosen online: 3 p.m. The fact that we had booked online allowed us to devote the entire morning to other visits and we arrived twenty minutes before the 'entrance time, a tour of the gardens, a few photos and it was time to enter! We got in after barely 40 seconds in line. Everything accurate and well organized. The museum is truly a treat not to be missed. Besides Klimt and the exciting "The Kiss" There are also very interesting works and the baroque hall is really fabulous!

Magnificent and scenic palace, beautiful gardens. The entrance time of the reservation was respected. We so enjoyed the display of paintings and the description provided by the audio guide as well as the information for each room. Numerous visitors forced us to wait to view the most famous paintings. Unfortunately, instead we were emailed back that it was not possible to deposit our luggage in the lockers inside the Belvedere, which is not true.

An interesting trip in and around beautiful Belvedere. Nice to skip the long que. The guide was interesting to follow, she was very good. But it would have been a plus if we had the possibillity to hear her better. The crowd around / the other visitors unfortunatly made her informative stories a bit difficult to hear. Why not use headset/speakers to make this an even more satisfying experince?

Everything was great, since buying the tickets, getting there, get into the museum, The only thing that I didn't liked was that I bought tickets for the 5:00 o'clock entrance and at 6:00 they were getting me out. There was a lot to see and I needed to run out !!! Don't think that they close doors at 6:00. At 6:00 they get you out. 😩

NO - actually I greatly disliked the experience. I have ofetne been to Belvedere in the past - an enjoyed it. By now the expeince is dominated by noisy groups, and persons more intend on taking pictures of one another or themselves next to the great works. The use of mobile telphones/ cpictures should be entirely banned.
