Overall worked pretty well. Need two different apps - access to Acropolis was very easy - just download tickets. Archaeological sites were more complicated. Multiple sets of tickets - have to pick a 1 hour window to check in and when we were 15 minutes late due to walking across town the person at the gate gave us a hard time. Even though absolutely no one else was there. Do your homework how things work and try to do your best guess to pick a time for 5 sites across a few days.

If you are doing tours adhoc and didn't have time to book a guide, this is the way to go. The explanations are really good, you are being guided by the gps feature so you know what you are looking at, depending your location, very useful in places like delphi and the acropolis. The ability to ask custom questions would be amazing, I hope the developers add it soon.

Great to be able to skip the line at the ticket office and go straight to the entrance. It was busy for our 11am booking but no issues and we managed to see everything . We didn't bother with the audio tour. Lots of multi-lingual signs telling you about the important stuff. It's a must do trip for anyone visiting Athens and pre booking is essential.

This pass was definitely worth it. We made use of visiting all the sites included, which saved us at least 20 Euros than if we visited each site individually. Other than the acropolis, the remaining sites were much less crowded and had museums that show the various ancient artifacts.

We travelled to Athens for the first time with my love. We went to the Acropolis on our third day. The view from the hill was fascinating.

Just good to see such important archeologicaly relevant to European civilisation. It was over priced as other sites could be viewed easily from the perimeter fences. Audio guide was hopeless with GPS location jumping all over. Couldn't work out where we were, would have been better using Apple map. Such a shame as content sounded good. All it did was drain my phone battery. I think the information needs to have far more about the human experience of ancient times
  • A temple for one of the oldest gods

Dedicated to the chief of the mighty Olympian Gods, the Temple of Olympian Zeus was envisaged to be the greatest temple in the ancient world at the onset of its construction in the 6th century BC. However, the world did not see the structure in all its glory till the construction was completed around 638 years later by the Roman Emperor Hadrian in the 2nd century AD. With 104 towering columns and two colossal statues (one of Zeus and one of Hadrian himself), the temple was the largest in the country.

    Explore at your own pace

Alas, its days of glory were short-lived. In the 3rd century AD, the temple was pillaged by barbarians. After this, it fell into disuse and was possibly never repaired. Even as a ruin, the temple is a sight to behold and is one of Athens' most important archaeological sites. Explore the site at your own pace, as you try to envision how magnificent the temple would have been with all its columns and statues. The multilingual audio guide delves into the temple's history and its influence on later architecture and art, highlighting its enduring influence.
