Your first stop is Masca, one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. Hidden deep between towering cliffs and sharp ravines in the Teno Mountains, Masca is the kind of place that makes you wonder how it ended up here at all. The views from the village are extraordinary, and you'll have plenty of time to explore, take photos, and take it all in before continuing into the mountains.

From Masca, you descend into Teide National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site and home to Spain's highest peak. The landscapes here are genuinely unlike anything else you'll find on a European island. Ancient lava flows, strange rock formations, and a silence that makes the whole place feel removed from the rest of the world. Your first major stop is Roques de García, where the iconic lava rock formations rise dramatically from the valley floor. Explore at your own pace, take photos, and let your guide walk you through the volcanic history of the park.

After Roques de García, continue through the park to further stops among the volcanic landscape, before heading to the moment that gives this tour its name.
Mirador de Samara sits high above Tenerife's southern coast, with views so wide and open that on clear days you can see across the whole island. This is where we stop for the Picnic Above the Clouds Experience. Local snacks, refreshing drinks, and one of the best views in the Canary Islands. There's no rush. The clouds drift below you. The highest peak in Spain sits on the horizon. It's the kind of thing you'll still be talking about when you get home.

Hotel pickup is available from selected areas, and the tour runs for 5 to 6 hours. Comfortable shoes, a light jacket for the altitude, and a camera are all you need.
