What to expect

Café de los Angelitos presents a theatrical journey through the history of Argentine tango, celebrating its evolution from the city's earliest cafés to the sophisticated performances of today. More than twenty artists take the stage, including six internationally acclaimed dance couples, two accomplished singers, and a live orchestra featuring piano, bandoneón, guitar, violin, and double bass. The production combines precise choreography, expressive vocals, elegant costumes, and refined staging to recreate the passion and emotion that define Buenos Aires' signature art form. Depending on your selected ticket, you can begin the evening with a gourmet three-course Argentine dinner accompanied by an open bar before settling in for the approximately 70 to 90-minute performance.

The venue

Located in the historic Balvanera neighborhood, Café de los Angelitos is one of Buenos Aires' most iconic cafés and tango houses, with a history dating back to the late 19th century. Crystal chandeliers, period moldings, vintage photographs, and beautifully restored interiors recreate the atmosphere of the cafés where tango first flourished. The intimate two-story theater is designed to offer excellent sightlines from every seat, allowing guests to experience the music, dance, and storytelling up close while enjoying one of the city's most elegant tango venues.
