Taipei Zoo Tickets

These tickets are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

What to bring

• Comfortable walking shoes; much of the park is outdoors.

• Mosquito repellent and an umbrella or rain jacket.

• Essentials for young children (strollers, baby supplies) if needed.

Accessibility

• Wheelchair and stroller accessible across much of the park; paths include some slopes.

• Baby care rooms and accessible toilets are available at select locations.

What’s not allowed

• Do not feed animals or attempt direct contact/interactions.

• Follow on-site rules regarding protected areas and exhibit boundaries.

• Opening hours: 9am-5pm; last admission 4pm. Animal viewing ends at 4:30pm.

• Recommended visit time: 2-6 hours.

• Popular exhibits like the Giant Panda House may have queues, especially on weekends/holidays.

• A shuttle train runs within the zoo for an extra fee.

• Maokong Gondola is nearby; it is not part of base admission.

• Amenities include luggage storage, stroller and wheelchair rental, baby care rooms, accessible toilets, water fountains, dining, souvenir shops, and rest areas.

• Weekends/holidays can be busy; weekdays are typically quieter.
