Went on an organised tour which was fabulous. The tour guide was very informative and gave life to the exhibition. I booked and used one of your mobility scooters as I have a disability and it's quite an orideal for me to transport my own scooter to the gallery. What a marvellous service and it's free!!! I really value what you are offering the public. I will become a regular visitor from now on. Thank you so much.

No problem to enter though the ticket didn't specify a time slot which the NGV required at that price. Not forced to see an exhibition that I didn't want to see to be able to enter at any time. The downside was that it was crowded and it was difficult to have access to the exhibit. Head out was new to me but I will use it again in the future fit NGV events as the tickets are better value for money.

The exhibition was extremely well done. The pace to progress through the various rooms and exhibitions was relaxed and not rushed. Personally, I really enjoyed the video of movies with Cartier jewels. Unfortunately our start to the exhibition was disappointing. We had booked tickets online, about 30 minutes prior to arriving at the gallery only to be informed that tickets would not be available for 2 hours. Upon presenting our ticket reference code as tickets had not come through to be told we must have tickets to enter. This was news to front of staff and I must say Charolette was great is assisting with what next steps we could try. Hence a phone call to request escalation for tickets and to be informed could take 2 hours. As you could imaging this was very disappointing and not an ideal start to what we had anticipated as a enjoyable day out for my wife and I. Tickets did come through after further escalation in about 20 minutes. I believe there is a process issue involved and places unduly stress in front line staff and consumers with consumer expectations not being met in this digital age. The reality was we could have walked straight up to the ticket desk at the gallery without delay. Thank you for the opportunity to provide this feedback. Regards Paul

The Cartier exhibition in Melbourne is outstanding! BRAVO to the 3 Cartiers brothers for their achievements. They travelled the world, and became totally dedicated to their jewellery business. The NGV has to be congratulated for their choice in bringing the most beautiful jewels to Melbourne. You will discover glittering diamonds, rare precious stones, unique tiaras and watches, miniature statues and so much more... Don't miss the opportunity to go.... you won't regret it! We had no queue at the entry even though it was a busy day, which was great when visiting with a toddler & a groom 6 adults. Two from interstate to see the show. The exhibition was well presented with far more rooms of gorgeous exhibits than we expected. The stories of provenance provided most interesting insights. I think the video display of the Maharaja of Petiala wearing the jewels as displayed was a highlight for me. For others in my party it was definitely the tiara room.

It was a journey through art, history and culture, craftsmanship and history. What fascinated me most was how many of Cartier's designs remain timeless. Pieces created a century ago still feel remarkably modern.. I was equally captivated by how they drew inspiration from different cultures around the world. I came away with a deep appreciation for Louis Cartier's artistic vision. The history behind the brand is every bit as impressive as the masterpieces themselves.
