His art invites viewers to reconsider the intricate relationship between memory and reality and history and modern times. The diverse subjects take inspiration from personal photographs, newspaper covers, and famous paintings by legendary artists. What also makes his work striking is that he uses canvases of monumental dimensions characterized by sweeping brush strokes. Besides depictions of still lives and landscapes, his works also boats of intimate portraits of prominent figures like Bruce Lee, Mao Zedong, and Vladimir Putin.
