Everything worked out perfectly. The tickets arrived by email the day before. The audio guide was great. It was a little more difficult to find the guides at St. Peter's Basilica as they were wearing yellow vests instead of the green ones described. Buy a ticket for the dome at the same time. We wanted to do this spontaneously and ended up standing in line for a long time. It wasn't nice, but it's not the fault of the vendor that far too many people are allowed into St. Peter's Basilica and the dome at once. In the grotto in particular, you were literally pushed through.

Saint Angel's Castle. Very interesting place, showing a piece of history. It is good that a lot has been preserved, an impressive monument . Raphael's sculpture stands guard there with dignity 😀the views from the tower are breathtaking, the idea of a cafe on the terraces, where with a cup of coffee, a glass of Aperol you can admire it all super 🤩 the exhibition dedicated in honor of John Paul II was mega impressive. There were no big queues behind the tickets, but having the opportunity to buy online you gain several minutes, which with a busy schedule of sightseeing priceless

Went at 9:30 for our 9:45 entrance and they let us right in. There were a few people but not a ton so it was still easy to get around. The audio guide was okay. Sometimes it would tell you to go the next room before they started talking about that room other times it just started and you had to guess what they were talking about. The audio guide also stopped before we got to to the outside walls so there were some audio signs, but we didn't get to listen to anything while we were walking around the outside walls.

After some back and forth, everything worked out. I booked the Bilette via St. Peters Basilica Tickets and was of the opinion that this was an official website. When I saw that it was Headout and read various reviews, I was critical as to whether it would work. So my critical attitude was confirmed at first. One day before the visit, the tickets were confirmed but the app said that the tickets were being generated and should be available in 30 minutes. This was still not the case after 2 hours. In the evening I contacted support via chat and was told the same thing, that I would receive the tickets soon. After another 2 hours, it was already midnight, I still didn't have the tickets. I contacted support again via chat and received the same answer. After my energetic inquiries, I was then forwarded by the AI assistant to a "real" support employee. He told me that the ticktes were not available for my booked time. However, I was immediately offered a refund or alternatively tickets for the following day. I opted for the latter and the tickets were in the app within 30 minutes. I have to commend the support team for their 24-hour availability. However, you have to outwit the AI assistant to get a "real" supporter. On site at St. Peter's Basilica, everything went smoothly. We were able to find the passage for the entrance with online tickets and arrived in St. Peter's Basilica after about 40 minutes of queuing.

We almost missed this treasure. It was our 2nd last day in Roma and we scrambled to find something for the afternoon as the rain cleared up earlier than forecast. My wife saw this castle and we booked through Headout for skip the line tickets in the afternoon and we truly skipped a huge line! How did we miss this destination in our months long planning?!! First we crossed a bridge, but not just any bridge. The Tiber river has many bridges, but oh my, this is a walking only bridge that ends in the monument itself. Ponte Sant'Angelo is amazing, with individually unique towering angels standing guard to the entrance of the Castel. Views of the Vatican nearby and the 360 panoramic views of Roma from the top terrace are as enticing as the models of the fortress, the art and artifacts contained within its walls and that mighty bronze statue of Arcangel Michael, the guardian of God's people. Don't miss this!!!

It was very busy when we visited and the queue was very long. We were instructed by one of the support team to join the quick entry queue in line with the details on our entry tickets. When we did so, another support team member grabbed my wife and shouted at us both and told us to go to the back of the queue. As I say, it was very busy but he was aggressive and very rude. The whole entry system is poorly organised and better guidance would have helped. Once we were inside St Peter's Basillica it was a wonderful experience and well curated.

Unfortunately the Pope closed the Vatican on the afternoon that we were scheduled to visit. We did not know this until showing up at the gate and finding it locked and guarded. It's not anything that could have been avoided, but it would have been nice to have been informed prior to spending two hours navigating crowds and waiting for entrance to the Basilica. Perhaps the tour company could try to monitor these events more closely and contact ticket holders.
