From Paris: Giverny Day Trip with Monet's House & Gardens Entry

The guide was very helpful in guiding us to the right spots.The drive was very comfortable.All in all a very pleasant day. above all Monnet's House was lovely but his gardens even more beautiful & in full bloom

Besonders gut, dass mich die 2. Reisegepäck mit nach Giverney nahm, nachdem die 2.Gruppe schon weg war. Headout hatte mir die Metrostation Ecole militaire angegeben und das Café sei direkt dort. Es war aber viel weiter auf dem Boul' La Bourdonnais, weshalb ich meine Gruppenicht mehr erreichte....

Really loved the tour to Monet's house and gardens, and our guide was great. Would have given 5 stars but the bathroom on the bus was locked and unavailable. I think that being that it was 1.5 hrs each way, that's a little too long to not have a bathroom for emergencies.

Super organised Trip to Monets Garden in Giverny. Enjoyed it a lot. Very friendly Guide gave interessting information. Worked out well with our toddler, chield friendly! Would defenetly recommend it.

The gardens were gorgeous! The water lilies were blooming and the first room in money's house with the paintings was amazing! We already want to go back!!!!

Giverny is beautiful, and the village and museum are worth a visit - indeed, we chanced about a free piano concert by a world-class pianist in the village church, and a great ehibition of Monet's work other than waterlilies in the gallery! We took the tour mainly to avoid the hassle of queueing, and seeing the massive line of people waiting for entry, on a sweltering hot day, we were very relieved that we did. We did not take a guided tour, wanting to wander at our own pace. We ifnormed the tour guide that we ould probably not take the return coach trip, and she was impressively understanding, helpfully offering for us to make a later return back if we desired! In fact we walked down the bike track into town, stopped for a cold drink en route, and caught a train back. A great day out!
