The Big Bus hop on hop off was an excellent choice to see both West (Red) and what was East Berlin (blue) in just a few hours. We then got off at the east Berlin stop and walked to the river where we did a 50 minute cruise also purchased from Big Bus and then got back on the West Berlin or red route. Proved to be a really good day.

It was well organized. There were always BigBus staff members at the stops who could tell you when the next bus was coming. However, it should also be possible to look that up on your own so you can better plan your time at specific stops.
