What to expect

As the Thrill Capital of Texas, Six Flags Over Texas delivers year‑round fun with more than 100 rides, shows and attractions—plus a robust seasonal events lineup and the nearby Hurricane Harbor Arlington waterpark.

2026 will see the opening of Tormenta Rampaging Run – the tallest, fastest, longest, and only giga dive coaster in the world. This one-of-a-kind thrill can only be found in the park’s new Spanish village section, Rancho de la Tormenta.

In the park’s USA section, AQUAMAN™: Power Wave launches riders forward and backward up tower spikes before a dramatic splashdown.

The Texas section highlights two marquee coasters: New Texas Giant, a hybrid transformation of a beloved wooden classic, and Titan, a towering steel hypercoaster known for sustained speed and sweeping helixes.

Gotham City brings DC™ storytelling to life. BATMAN™ The Ride immerses guests in an inverted, high‑intensity flight through loops and corkscrews, while MR. FREEZE™ accelerates from 0–70 mph in seconds before climbing a vertical spike and reversing the journey. Families can join the JUSTICE LEAGUE™ Reserve Team on JUSTICE LEAGUE™: Battle for METROPOLIS, a motion‑based, interactive dark ride with life‑size animatronics and target gameplay.

In the Tower area, Shock Wave delivers classic thrills with back‑to‑back vertical loops and a brisk top speed. Younger guests can explore Bugs Bunny Boomtown, a colorful Looney Tunes‑themed zone designed for junior adventurers.
