Vulcano: Climb the Crater, Swim in the Sea, and Relax
As you sail around this incredible peninsula, you will see geological wonders like the Grotta del Cavallo or Horse Cave, the Piscina di Venere aka Venus Pool, and the Testa del Leone. The boat will dock at the port on the island, giving you time to explore its unique landscape on your own.
Take some time to walk around the village, have a meal (at your own expense) and visit the black sand beach for a swim. Those who are up for an adventure can climb up Vulcano to its grand crater for breathtaking views of the entire archipelago. After a day in the sun and water, board your boat back to Lipari or continue your adventure by visiting Stromboli and Panarea islands!
Stromboli and Panarea
As you near Panarea, admire the stunning bay of Cala Junco from your boat. After the visit, continue sailing towards Basiluzzo, the largest islet, and then reach Stromboli. At sunset, leave for a tour of Strombolicchio as you sip on a glass of local Malvasia. Stop by the ‘Stream of Fire’ or Sciara del Fuoco, witness the spectacular eruptions of Stromboli, and finally return to Lipari.
