I know the hop-on hop-off service quite well by now; I've used it in cities across half of Europe during my travels. I think the service is excellent—it helps you get around the city easily and discover the top tourist attractions. The audio guide is fine, though a bit more information wouldn't hurt. I definitely won't miss out on using this bus on my next vacation either.

our HopOn/Off bus tour provided a good tour of Vienna on our last of 4 days there with a great stop at the Prater for lunch and to ride the ferris wheel and other fun rides enjoyed by the two 14 year old grandchildren (and parent each) We were ready to kick back and enjoy the ride with a well done audio guide as we rode by the sites to fill out our visit in the city. Several short stops allowed us to view where a family member had spent a university semester some years ago. We recommend this as a wonderful way to enjoy Vienna with a relatively short time there.

The boat tour is okay. Unfortunately, there is very little of beautiful Vienna to see along the banks of the Danube, but lots of concrete instead.
