Wonderful experience. An interactive and very interesting museum that explains the entire wine production cycle along with the context and history of Bordeaux winemaking. The area where you can test your sense of smell by identifying the different aromas found in wine was also great. The visit to the belvedere and the complimentary glass of wine were much appreciated as well. Highly recommended!

The guide's commentary was very well-researched, yet accessible, easy to understand, and memorable. One thing I remembered (among many others!) was the reason behind the original architecture of the Cité du Vin: to echo the expression "the roundness of wine," describing a smooth, pleasant wine on the palate.

Easy access to the Cité du Vin. The listening system using a tablet connected to headphones is very interesting and lets you go at your own pace. It's an exhaustive wine program that takes you on a journey around the world. A very pleasant morning topped off with a glass of Saint-Émilion.

Our lunch plans did not workout so we took a chance in the restaurant the Citi Du Vin would be available. We were able to get eight in and it was such a treat. Exquisite presentation and the flavor was a delicate delight. The tour was superb with check in a breeze. The glass of wine with a view was the best in the city. La Cité du Vin is essential if you want to say you have truly visited Bordeaux. We spent a few fun and ultimately educational hours there. You learn while enjoying yourself, which is definitely a plus. The route is straightforward, and the audio guide is exceptionally clear.
