We made a last‑minute decision to visit the National Aquarium Abu Dhabi, and it turned out to be such a great choice. To skip the long queue, we bought our tickets online through Abu Dhabi Tickets/Headout — and to my surprise, they offered discounts! The tickets were much cheaper than buying them at the counter, which was a huge saving for a family of six. The National Aquarium is a fantastic place for both kids and kids at heart. Aside from the impressive variety of sea creatures, they also have a capybara (which my daughter loves), birds, and reptiles in their mini Forest section. There is also an interactive activities that is very entertaining. Our kids had the best time exploring everything. It was truly a memorable day for all of us.

Visiting the Abu Dhabi National Aquarium was such a refreshing experience. From the moment you walk in, you’re pulled into a beautiful underwater world that feels both educational and magical. The aquarium is spacious, well-organized, and incredibly clean, making it enjoyable even when it’s busy. Each zone is thoughtfully designed, and the variety of marine life—from colorful reef fish to majestic sharks—is truly impressive. The exhibits are beautifully designed, showcasing an impressive variety of marine life from around the world. The tanks are crystal clear, the environments feel natural, and the educational displays make the visit both fun and informative. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about conservation, which adds a lot to the experience. The experience was exciting. Thanks Headout! Yas waterworld is the most fun place for children and adults! Kindly recommend to visit, staff are friendly, food is good, we took a cabana with towels, sunbeds, water for 390 AED, it was comfortable. National aquarium is also nice, be attentive waterworld is different, I didn't know that and firstly we went to waterworld, I thought it's the same place)) we came there after 6 pm and there were few people. After visiting the aquarium you can walk in Al Qana, there are lots of restaurants for having a dinner. Also you can visit the butterfly garden.

Height and age restrictions apply to select rides and animal encounters (e.g., minimum height of 0.9m or 1.2m for some experiences).

Penguin habitat lights are dimmed at 4:30 pm; plan your visit to this area accordingly.

Animal encounters and behind-the-scenes experiences require advance booking and an additional fee.

Non-compliance with park rules may result in removal without refund.

Please note that multi-park ticket holders at Yas Island theme parks will enter using face scan at the turnstiles. Guests must register by scanning the QR code on their ticket, selecting Register Face Tag, entering personal details, accepting the terms, and uploading a face photo. Each guest must complete their own registration, and it is recommended to do this in advance to avoid entry delays. Alternatively, guests can register via the Yas Island App or visit Guest Services with a passport or Emirates ID. A tutorial video is available here.
