Experience the best of SEA LIFE Hannover

The aquarium follows a mostly one-way path through themed freshwater, coastal, and marine habitats. That structure turns the visit into a clear ecosystem journey rather than a set of unconnected tanks.

The glass tunnel is one of the most immersive parts of SEA LIFE Hannover. Blacktip reef sharks, rays, and other fish move overhead or beside visitors, creating a close-up view of the main marine habitat.

SEA LIFE Hannover brings together more than 2,500 marine animals in over 40 tanks and aquariums. The scale is compact enough for a half-day visit but broad enough to cover several aquatic environments.

Scheduled feeding shows and lectures add fixed points to an otherwise self-guided visit. They can help visitors spend more time at selected tanks and pick up species and conservation context during the route.

Beyond the main aquariums, the visit includes a rainforest expedition with a jungle atmosphere, tropical animals, and a Cuban crocodile. It gives the route a different environment from the freshwater and marine tanks.
