It was a fairly smooth outing, and reasonably relaxing for an autistic person like myself, while there were the expected small children also attending the building didn't reverberate the sound of their enthusium.

Absolutely an epic day out. Me and my partner had a lovely experience. Are highlight of the day was the jelly fish, sting rays and the turtles . We will deffently be back again with the family.

Very enjoyable visit seeing all the fish etc., However, it would have been even better had we been able to hear the commentary about the turtles and sharks. The sound system was abolutely rubbish and we did not understand a word of what he was saying. All we got was a noise and only evry 10 - 20 words did we understand. You really need to get a better sound system. Although we enjoyed our visit, it would have been so much better if we could have heard what he was saying.

So its my first EVER time visiting Sea Life via Headout. Living so close to Brighton i wonder why its taken me two years to visit but it was well worth it and all the fishes at sea life were so fascinating. I went with my friend who also has never been so it was a joint first experience! We spent hours admiring the jellyfish, stingray and turtles. So much fun! Thank you, Adam.

We had such a fantastic time and the colleagues there really made things special for my partner as it was his birthday, we got to see most sealife animals there, they're so beautiful to see and it's great to learn also how to preserve the ocean and how climate change is having its impact. A great day our. The grandkids loved it. They loved all the marine life and were in awe. The only downside was we couldn't hear very well the talk on the turtles, but overall had a brilliant time.

It was very different from my last visit, difficult to follow a route around without missing anything. Also we found the electronic signs by the tanks moved on so quickly they didn't give you time to read, bad enough for me but I would imagine children find this very upsetting.

What’s not allowed

Visitors under 16 are not permitted to enter without an accompanying adult.

Large bags and suitcases are not allowed inside the venue.

Accessibility

SEA LIFE Brighton is wheelchair accessible.

An accessible entrance is available via the beach underpass, reached using the ramp down to the seafront.

Accessible toilet facilities are available on site.

Guests with disabilities pay the standard admission price.

One accompanying carer receives free entry.

Additional information

Pre-booking is required for all visitors, including passholders and voucher holders.

Lockers and cloakrooms are not available, so large bags and luggage cannot be brought inside.

The Ocean Display in the auditorium has limited access, but it can also be viewed from the accessible Ocean Tunnel.

Children aged 2 years and under enter free, though a ticket must still be reserved.

Visitors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.

Standard admission includes a 10-minute arrival window.

Entry is valid all day, with same-day re-entry allowed until the final admission time.

The aquarium is usually quieter in the early morning and late afternoon.

Student tickets are valid during off-peak periods only (Mon–Fri) and are not accepted on weekends or peak dates.
