This was such a good trip. We entered Pier 33 and queued for our boat. The ease of boarding and the helpful staff was good. The turn around of the boats is extremely good. Once we got to Alcatraz, we were greeted by a guard who gave a little information. There were guides/maps to purchase for $1 in lots of languages. We bought one and the information inside is good. Well worth the $1. When we were ready, we made our way to the main cell block where we collected our audio tour and started our journey. The audio tour was fantastic. So much information shared. It was a thoughtful tour. It really made you think what the inmates had to live like... No privacy at all. You even get the chance to enter a cell and see for yourself how small they were. All in all, we really enjoyed our day on Alcatraz and I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone visiting the area. There is no time limit once you are on the island. We were there for about 4 hours. Go and experience Alcatraz for yourselves.

This visit was special from start to finish. The boat was cool, they had drinks and snack although it was a short ride. The tour was amazing, the stories of the prisoners and even how they had soldiers on the island with their families. It's referred to as the "rock". Loved learning about it. Great price and great tour.

Such an amazing trip! Easy to book, clear boarding process, great ride to the island with incredible views. The island was so much fun to explore and the audio tour was excellent (really didn't know what to expect but it was so informative and fun for our whole family to do). Would do this again!!!

A fabulous, well organised trip. Easy to find, instructions clear and would highly recommend. Just a tip, make sure you plan time to eat in between both trips if you are doing them in the same day.

Great to swe Alcatraz. But i went for night tour especially to swe hospital and IT was closed. As well as showers and dining room... A bit of a let down.
