About Saigon Skydeck

Saigon Skydeck differs from many observation decks in Ho Chi Minh City by combining a central District 1 location with a short, easy visit. It is a quick walk from Nguyen Hue Walking Street and about 1 km from Ben Thanh Market, so it fits neatly into a sightseeing day. The 49th-floor deck also includes landmark touchscreens and an Ao Dai mini-museum, not just city views.

Did you know?

Bitexco Financial Tower’s lotus-inspired facade uses about 6,000 uniquely cut glass panels, a detail many visitors miss when focusing only on the skyline view.

The tower’s helipad is not on the roof: it projects from the 52nd floor and cantilevers about 22 meters from the structure.

Saigon Skydeck soft-opened in January 2011 before officially opening to international visitors a few months later, making it Ho Chi Minh City’s first dedicated observation deck.

The elevators to the deck run at up to about 7 meters per second, so the ride to the 49th floor is part of the experience, not just a transfer.
