Rynek Underground Main Entrance
The main entrance to the Rynek Underground Museum is located on the eastern side of the Cloth Hall (Sukiennice) at Rynek Główny 1, right in the heart of Kraków’s Main Market Square. Look for the small glass pyramid and the 'Muzeum Krakowa' sign near the Town Hall Tower. The entrance is equipped with an elevator, providing step-free access for wheelchair users and visitors with limited mobility. Please note that while the main exhibition is accessible, some areas such as the toilets and film rooms may require navigating stairs.
Regular Hours: Open daily except Tuesdays, from 10:00am to 8:00pm (last entry at 6:00pm).
Last Entry: Final admission is at 6:00pm to allow enough time for the full experience.
Special Hours/Closures: Closed every Tuesday, on January 1, November 1 (All Saints’ Day), December 25, and select public holidays. The museum may also close early on certain dates for special events or maintenance—always check the official website before your visit. Admission is free on Tuesdays, but advance booking is still required due to limited capacity.
