he Royal Palace of Madrid is an impressive monument that reflects Spain’s rich history and royal heritage. Architecturally, it is breathtaking, with its grand façade, elegant courtyards, and beautifully decorated interiors. The rooms are filled with priceless artworks, chandeliers, and historical details that give visitors a strong sense of the power and lifestyle of the Spanish monarchy. However, the palace can feel overwhelming due to its size and the large number of tourists, which sometimes makes it difficult to fully enjoy the experience. While the interiors are stunning, some visitors may find the visit slightly repetitive after a while. Despite this, the palace remains a must-see attraction, offering a fascinating glimpse into Spain’s past and an unforgettable visual experience

This guided tour was an absolute experience for us! First of all our guide, Sergio, was very friendly and explained many Madrid-related facts in detail. The guided tour started on time, with introducing ourshelves and the country of origin. The walking tour towards the Royal Palace was also a great surprise, since it was a very good chance to learn many aspects of Madrid's historic places. Later, the palace guided tour was very well organised, with detailed presentation of every room, leaving plenty of time for photos. In general, I would absolutely suggest Headout for a guided tour as well as we will also choose it again for a guided tour in the future.

We visited the Royal Kitchens and I thought it was amazing. The guide gave clear and entertaining explanations of each area, as well as the function and characteristics of the furniture and utensils. Then, the visit to the palace itself was quite entertaining. We went through the different rooms, with paintings by Goya and other artists from the 18th and 19th centuries, frescoes on the ceilings, and wonderful tapestries on the walls. Ballrooms, dining rooms, throne room, etc. Everything had signs explaining what was in each room and how it was used by the different kings of each era. A visit that will leave you with fond memories.

With only two days to visit Madrid, I tried to optimize my time and costs so I could visit the main attractions. I searched various websites for the best deals, but only on Headout did I find a combo ticket with an additional discount for entry to the Royal Palace and the Prado Museum. Having this ticket saved us money and allowed us to skip the lines.

I received a mail to l specify where the meeting point was, together with a picture which was helpful. The guide spoke good English and was knowledgeable about the subject. She encouraged people to ask questions by telling people that the question asked was a good one.
