Roppongi Hills itself is free to enter. Pay only if you want Tokyo City View, the Sky Deck, or the Mori Art Museum, so budget travelers can keep the deck as an optional add-on.

If the rooftop matters to you, check the official Tokyo City View site the morning of your visit. Sky Deck access is weather-dependent and may close for rain, strong wind, snow, or safety reasons.

Read the inclusion line carefully before booking. Many Tokyo City View tickets also include Mori Art Museum, but the museum bundle can change with the current exhibition and campaign.

Advance tickets can reduce the ticket-purchase step at the 3F counter, but they do not skip security screening, elevator queues, or any separate Sky Deck checks.

Aim to be at the 3F Tokyo City View / Mori Art Museum entrance 60–90 minutes before sunset. That buffer helps with wayfinding inside Roppongi Hills and lets you catch daylight, dusk, and night views.

Do not assume an audio guide comes with your ticket. Tokyo City View is generally self-guided, while some Mori Art Museum exhibitions may offer English explanations, multimedia, braille, or audio guides.

If you use a wheelchair or stroller, book the indoor deck with the museum as your main plan. The rooftop Sky Deck may have stairs or restrictive safety conditions, so do not rely on it as guaranteed accessible.
