Getting started
Meet your guide at Via Cavour 138, hop into your golf cart, and set off on your journey through Rome’s timeless wonders.
What to expect
Enjoy the views of the towering Colosseum and the grand Baths of Caracalla while listening to the stories of gladiators, emperors, and daily Roman life.
Church of Domine Quo Vadis
Your first visit is the 17th-century church which marks the spot where Christ is said to have appeared to Saint Peter as he fled Rome. Inside, a stone bears Christ’s footprint, symbolizing Peter’s decision to return and face martyrdom.
Catacombs and Basilicas
Next, descend into the ancient Christian catacombs—either Saint Callixtus or Saint Sebastian, depending on the time of your visit. These underground tunnels once served as secret burial sites during Roman persecution and are steeped in early Christian history. Above them, basilicas were later built to honor martyrs and offer sanctuaries for worship.
Circus of Maxentius
Further on your drive you will cruise through the 4th century circus which reflects the layout of a typical chariot-racing venue, with space for around 10,000 spectators.
Appian Way
Your guide would take you to the Appian Way built in 312 BC. Here you can step onto the preserved pavement once used for military movement and trade. Original stones and ancient tombs still line this historic route.
Pyramid of Caius Cestius
On your next sightseeing is the striking view of a pyramid, constructed around 18–12 BC, it was built as a tomb for a Roman magistrate. Its Egyptian style reflects Rome’s cultural ties with the East.
Circus Maximus & Belvedere of Romulus and Remus
Taking a peaceful pause at the Circus Maximus, you get to appreciate the legendary origins of Rome from the views of the Palatine Hill.
Mouth of Truth, Theatre of Marcellus, Column of Trajan
As your journey concludes, you’ll pass the legendary Mouth of Truth—once part of an ancient fountain, later famed as a medieval lie detector. Nearby, marvel at the Theatre of Marcellus and the Column of Trajan, timeless symbols of Roman engineering and military triumph.
