Zoomania OCEANS of fun. I thought this was going to be a massive aquarium with a water park attached. It was a massive water park with an aquarium attached lol. The entrance queue was like any other attraction and reminded me of Lego land. Crowds of people queuing to get in at 10am. Id already got the day passes so entry was really quite easy , a quick scan of the ticket and we were in. There are staff, entertainers who keep the crowd moving forward into the complex. The first area is the two main show areas ; one dolphins the other sea loins . Then as you go around to the left you have the marine bird section, butterfly farm and straight down from there is the aquarium. We went to the aquarium first. ObviouslyI was expecting a large aquarium but this is of a small size. The displays are good though and the selection of fish. They also have a large tank that holds sharks, stingrays and other fish. Then you leave that area to the stingray tank. And then the gift shop. One of many but it's understandable. They have one main restaurant area which is a grill bar. They also gave a burger kiosk that sells burger and hot dogs. I had a hot dog. It was nice, came as a meal with a shandy. The dolphin show is good. And the bird shows are amazing how they fly over your head. They introduced Sam, the new arrival to the dolphin family so that was cute. They also do a sea lion show and some other musical shows. These are timed, 2 daily shows so you can experience them all if you so wish. You can also book to swim with the dolphins or other animal meets at an extra cost. Once you've done the animal attractions this then leads you towards the water park section of the complex. There is a baby/ toddler pool, a swimming pool with various depths and then the beach. At first the wave machine wasn't on and my son (adult) got bored waiting for it. So they went on the main water park / slides. I went on the jurassic River which is okay but needs updating. My son and his partner went on the slides and had a fantastic time. They also went on the dry rides. By the time I came back from the big wheel the waves were on. So I spent the rest of the time in there. The lockers are for hire and so are a number of sun beds. I hired an umbrella seat (umbrella with 2 sunbeds) and an extra sunbed for 20 euro. But many ppl brought there own stuff and set up " camp" in the empty spaces. Toilets and changing areas are clean and well presented. They have showers to clean up at the end of the days adventure. Overall, the ticket cost 29.99 euro and if you stay the full day , then yes, value for money. Take flip flops as the pavement gets super hot! Food and drink is at an extra cost too, just incase that wasn't clear. Thanks 😊

Fantastic day out at Zoomarine Algarve! We had a brilliant time at Zoomarine. There’s something for everyone, with a great mix of animal experiences, shows, rides, pools, and attractions. The park is well maintained, the staff were friendly and helpful, and everything felt well organised. The animal shows were definitely a highlight, and the water attractions were perfect for cooling off and having some fun. It’s a great place for families, but adults can enjoy it too. We spent most of the day there and still felt like there was plenty to see and do. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in the Algarve — we’d happily go back!

We visited based on a recommensation and we are so pleased we did. The animal shows were fantastic and it was clear to see the love and care from the trainers. The site is so vast that we didnt get to go round everything and due to it being so busy we didnt go on any rides, but we enjoyed the pirate show. I think if you want to do it all you really need to be there for it opening and stay till close and maybe do the 2 days to get the full benefit.

We had the best time at Zoomarine, it had something for everyone in our family of 5. We feel it was such good value for money too, the shows were fantastic, rides were good, options for food and drink and prices were reasonable too. We highly recommend you visit here, it's well worth it

Absolutely brilliant day out at Zoomarine Albufeira! The whole place was so well run. A perfect mix of entertainment and fun for everyone. The staff were friendly and clearly passionate about what they do. Would 100% recommend to anyone visiting the Algarve, we'll definitely be back!
