I'm obsessed with the lion king musical. This is the 7th time I have seen the stage production and I always take people with me who have never seen it. The tribal rhythms, gorgeous colours. Ingenious puppetry ideas that turn a cartoon into a stage play are magic. The way the actors bodies combined with the puppetry move like their animal is incredible. In particular the cheater and baby elephant. If people don't see this musical at least once they are really missing out. It was 20 yrs ago when I saw it first and each time it comes back, I go multiple times. Hoping to get an 8th time in before it moves to Brisbane in November.

The Lion King Musical was engaging from start to finish! The amazing costumes captivated us as the performers walked through the audience and arrived on stage. The actors were so talented and the story and subtle comedy throughout kept the audience so engaged. I went with my family members aged from 13 to 67 and we all loved it. The booking process was very easy . We love to support the Arts and the Performance Industry when we can and to introduce your teenage grandchildren to this very important industry was a privilege. The fact that they enjoyed it was so rewarding. Well done to all concerned!!

It was an amazing show! It was my 2nd time watching it but it was my girlfriend's 1st time. All I can say lion musical has and always will be magical. It brings out the kid in us and with all the memorable songs, it just kept our heads boppin along! The Capitol theater where we watched it was also truly unique in its own way bringing out that theatrical vibe something which we dont have it here in Singapore. Definitely will want to catch another show if im there again

My fourth visit to The lion King, twice in London once in Birmingham UK and fourth in Sydney. All equally enjoyable. Great story but added charm of animal characters passing through the audience, book the seat near the isle! Uplifting music, very good comedy and super lighting. Dances were beautifully choreographed. Enjoyed it again as much as first time. Hakuna Matata. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

My husband and I made a special trip from Perth, WA to see The Lion King in 2013 when it was playing in Sydney at the Capitol Theatre. We thoroughly enjoyed it then and my sister and I enjoyed this performance too. The show was really spectacular. The percussionists on either of the stage deserve more recognition. Great night out. Better still, because my sister and I were staying at the Metro Hotel just across the street.

Loved it! Went with 3 of my grand kids, 14 13 and 9 year old. Fabulous sets, costume design, puppetry. The Capitol is the perfect venue for theatre and creative dance. The architecture, seating, and orchestra placement are an absolute treat for the audience. Booking was seamless. Crowds were managed perfectly with numerous entry points, kiosks for pre show drinks and treats as well as efficient catering at intermission.

Povestea

Simba este un tânăr prinț leu care trăiește în Pridelands. Își iubește tatăl, Mufasa, și este foarte aventuros, neglijându-și responsabilitățile de viitor rege. Când unchiul său, Scar, încearcă să-i ia regatul, Simba fuge și se duce să locuiască împreună cu Timon și Pumbaa. În cele din urmă, el își dă seama că trebuie să-și asume responsabilitatea și, cu ajutorul prietenilor săi, să-și împlinească destinul de a deveni rege.

The Lion King Musical was fantastic, the puppertry movements of the animals brought them to life, the puppeteers, actors and singers were skilled artists, the music was amazing and the costumes were next level. The audience felt part of the show with the performance extending to the aisles during multiple scenes. The story telling also included occassional humour with current times and sayings. I loved, loved, loved this show.
