Our driver, Belle was fun, polite and knew her stuff. The San Diego Hop-on Hop-Hop-off Trolley Tour was very enjoyable, informative and entertaining all at once and is a great way to get the feel and layout of the city. We would certainly recommend it to any visitors wanting to get to know something more about the place.

It was alright nothing that blew our socks off and the heat of the day probably didnt help that. We didnt start well as when we saw Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo we thought great we will drive to the Zoo park there and get the first trolly of the day to say we were pissed off that your stop is nowhere near the zoo was an understatement. Also a little education at the zoo may help as nobody knew where your pickup point was.

We loved all the locations and they drivers were fantastic. Unfortunately, if you were at the back of the bus, you could not hear what was being said and many of the passengers talked when they shouldn't have been.

Good way to see lots of different parts of the city with narration. Tour guides were great. I like that we could get on and off at multiple locations.

The convenience of the frequent stops allowed for exploring many places in a short amount of time, while the knowledgeable guides added engaging personal twists to the experience. Overall, it was a fantastic trip that inspired a strong recommendation and a desire to take it again.

There was nothing really we loved about this tour. The trolleys were very bumpy (not sure if the conditions of the streets were to blame). "Deb" was the second driver and narrator. My wife and I agreed that she spoke too fast, and way too low, and her voice started to grate on us after awhile. The bigger problem with her was that we could hardly hear her and learned very little of the history she was imparting. The first and third drivers, Mark and Jack were the complete opposite. We could hear every word they were saying even while riding on a highway or heavily trafficked street. All in all, we were not very happy with the tour. Unlike the "real" hop-on-hop-off busses in other cities, these trolley's are not equipped with earphones. Maybe, they should be.
