My visit to the Cartier Exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria was amazing !!!! So well organised ...booking ahead was a good idea Having a cloakroom to leave coats etc at the door made it easier too . Although quite busy ,due to being so well organised, walking through the entire exhibition just flowed so smoothly. The display of jewels was absolutely amazing. I particularly loved the seated viewing screen area showing old movies with the diamonds on show ! The tiaras were my absolute favourite pieces ... oh to dream of wearing them ! Thankyou for the opportunity to see such an incredible display ! So good , im taking going back on the 2 nd Oct before the exhibition closes Thankyou to all concerned ! Thanks to Headout too love from Carolyn xx

I've always loved all about Cartier, the beautiful and wonderful history. The designs have always been so glamorous, delicate, stylish and sophisticated. The men and women, the fashion and the simple life of the 1800s and 1900s. I loved all the exhibition, from the background , the detailed and perfect sketches to the actual pieces. I could have stayed for many more days just taking in every flawless detail.My daughter was surprised how much she enjoyed it too. It was a pleasure and privilege to feel part of that world for just a short period. Just exquisite!

The items exhibited of course made the visit super special, but thank you Headout for enabling such a viewing. We appreciated that there was no time limit, important for us as more elderly viewers needing extra time and places to sit at intervals which also allowed for quiet contemplation of various sections of the displays. My partner particularly enjoyed the Mystery Clocks, a particular interest of his. Whilst I loved especially the Tutti Frutti necklace...I'll have one of those thank you!! Haha.

A beautiful sunny end of winter day in Melbourne. A gentle tram ride to the NGV. Giant sculptures in the foyer of the gallery get you in the mood for a cultural feast. Every inch of the Cartier exhibition was enthralling. Fascinating history, juicy gossip about the Cartier wearing divas and socialiates and Princesses. A portrait of Dame Nelly Melba was positioned beside the brilliant jewels and tiaras she owned. I caught her looking at me, as I took a selfie with her portrait.

A day in Melbourne, flying in from Adelaide for a magical visit to the Cartier Exhibition with my daughter. I'm not sure if there were more sparkles in the magnificent tiaras and jewelry, or in the eyes of all of us looking at the exhibition. We took our time to look at each piece and read the explanations. The visitors seemed buoyed by the magnificence and were helpful and sharing. I've never felt the pure joy of an exhibition like this.

Superb exhibition for the Cartier exhibition only thing I could think of was the cabinets with the jewellery or other items shouldn't have had more the four items at the most as it was impossible to see especially small items with a lot of people crowding around. However in spite of the it was a fabulous exhibition and would love to see more from other top of the line jewellery companies or handbags

    What a sumptuous experience! We really didn't expect such an exhaustive display. It was so beautifully and logically set out. We felt supported to wind the best path through the wonderland of the most exquisite jewellery. I've been telling all my friends that they really shouldn't miss it!

    I came up from Tasmania to see this once in my lifetime exhibition . Brilliantly easy entry and then wow Cartier through the decades and different fashion styles. My standout was the tiara room incredible beauty and craftsmanship Loved it all

    Great amount of displays accompanied by interesting facts and videos. Adequate room to walk around without crowding. Relaxed atmosphere with appropriate lighting. Places to sit and rest whilst enjoying the display. The tiaras were my favourite

    Pre purchased tickets as we live 5 hours from Melbourne. Parking at the Centre was super easy and no need to queue for tickets. Tiara Room was the highlight of our visit. Great day at the NGV.
