My husband and I went on the tour to St Mark's Basilica and we were very impressed. The tour is very well organised and professional, my husband and I got very lost trying to get there, the kind tour organisers rang us to see where we were and sent us a pin, crucial in Venice. We were in a small group of 10 people with Francesca as our guide. Francesca was brilliant, she is an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide with deep historical knowledge of Venice and its churches and museums. She took us across St Mark's Square while explaining the early history of Venice, its establishment and by whom, taking us through the centuries and the history of the building of the Basilica. Once inside, Francesca shared her wealth of knowledge by explaining each mosaic panel overhead, greatly enhancing and enriching the experience. She also explained the history of the different sections of the Basilica, the different stones used and also how St Mark ended up in the Basilica- a very interesting story about the Crusades. I probably would not have know where to look first without her guidance and structured approach. Francesca told other anecdotes and answered questions, she is clearly a knowledgeable scholar of Venetian history. I had studied art history back in the day but this was way beyond what you can find as a generic description of the Basilica. This was the best tour I have been on of its kind and definitely recommend it. Thank you Francesca for enhancing our visit, we will definitely sign up for other Headout tours! Thank you also to the kind organisers for helping us find the meeting spot

Easy to find the group, the tour guide was lovely and engaged with the group well. The tour of the basilica was brief (20mins). We didn't go up to the second level for some reason and stayed on the main level only. Would have been nice if the guide allowed little pauses between areas to just take photographs as it can be hard to get good pictures while also listening and being respectful to the guide giving us information. The second part of the ticket to the doges palace is self guided and was nice to do at our own pace. Don't skip the palace, it's stunning. They have free audio guides available for download, download the app beforehand (MUVE app). They have lists on the app you can download so that you don't have to do it at the locations. Very handy.

We really enjoyed our visit to St. Mark’s Basilica. The church was absolutely beautiful, and our guide was excellent, very friendly and knowledgeable. Doge’s Palace was also stunning and fascinating to explore. We especially enjoyed that the ticket included access to the additional museums, which were very interesting and added even more to the experience. Highly recommended!

Our guide was prompt. His knowledge of St Mark's Square, Venice and the Basilica was extraordinary. He pointed out details that we would have missed otherwise. What a treat it was to finish our tour with a glass demonstration and Murano glass gallery tour. Excellent time in Venice.

After taking the water bus on the main canal we arrived at St.Marks. The Basilica was absolutely amazing and tour guide was very knowledgeable. Enjoyed this tour and also had a combo ticket for Dodge's palace and a couple other museums. Was an amazing day.

The guide was very knowledgeable and shared many little details about the history, facts about the gold leaf and the bejeweled gold panel, and how a miscommunication ended up leaving Napoleon Bonaparte think the gold panel was worthless metal and glass. She gave us a good mix of information and paid attention to ensure all were in good positions to see and hear.

Bravissima la guida, Michela, che abbiamo avuto per la visita in San Marco. Un appunto sul fatto che dal sito di prenotazione era chiaramente scritto che a palazzo ducale potevamo entrare in qualsiasi momento (dalle 9 alle 17). Al momento di stampa dei biglietti l'ingresso era solo dalle 12.00
