Visiting the Basilica Cistern was one of the highlights of our time in Istanbul. The experience was truly impressive from the moment we stepped inside. Walking through the massive underground space, surrounded by beautifully lit columns and reflections in the water, feels almost magical. The atmosphere is unique and very different from anything else in the city. One of the best parts was that we were able to enter without waiting in line, which made the visit even more enjoyable and relaxed. Once inside, you can take your time exploring, appreciating the architecture, and seeing details like the famous Medusa head columns. It’s an incredible historical place and absolutely worth visiting. Highly recommended for anyone coming to Istanbul.

We didn't have to wait in line to buy tickets, and it took us less than ten minutes to get inside. We found the whole process very convenient and efficient.

Honestly there was no line, very smooth entry on the right side of the building. Be aware that downstairs is not allowed for tourists. Don't confuse the entrance. The security made sure that people didn't block the passages. We came with our baby, on a carrier because strollers are not allowed indeed. So plan ahead. All in all we enjoyed it.

The Cistern was very well organized. Entry was quick and seamless. It was not crowded at all during the night shift. The Cistern was also absolutely spectacular and well worth the cost of entry. Headout made it easy to purchase night shift tickets will in advance.

A very beautiful location, centrally situated, with a circle of chairs offering a great view of the dance ceremony. Everyone receives a small bottle of water, and the musicians and dancers are very professional. Highly recommended.

This experience was simply amazing. The Whirling Dervishes is super interesting and very useful to learn about Sufi Islam. Also the Turkish food experience was really good and complete. Our guide Zeynep was top notch! She was friendly, clear, fun and very willing to help with any questions about Istanbul. 100% recommended!
