Arrive at the Tahune Adventures Visitor Centre and meet up with your skilled and experienced tour guide. Gear up for the waters of the twin rivers, Picton and Huon. Once you've got a safety brief and an introduction to the raft, you'll set out to raft on the picturesque rivers. Enjoy fun splash fights in the river water with your family and friends. You'll get a chance to spot unique species while birdwatching and see the rare Huon pines. Your guide will make sure you don't miss spotting a rare species. You'll also learn stories about the natural history of the region from them.

Stopping for a snack break along the way, you'll enjoy regional southern Tasmanian produce and a warm drink. Heading to the swing bridges will be next. Here, you'll get to capture the classic view of the Huon and Picton Twin Rivers junction and the Airwalk. Once you're back from your thrilling expedition, you can sit back and relax in the cafe.

Important Information

A reasonable level of fitness is recommended for this tour, particularly in lower water levels as you may need to be a little more active in maneuvering your raft or pushing off rocks.

It is advised to bring your medication if you have a medical condition (asthma, anaphylaxis, heart condition, etc.) and let your trip leader know before the trip starts.

Guests can get their personal waterproof camera if they want.

Dietary options are available for the hot drink and light snack given in the middle of the trip. Please ensure you communicate this while booking your ticket.

Change rooms and lockers are provided although it is recommended that you leave your valuables secured in your vehicle.

Infants aged 5 and under can go for free. Children aged 6-16, and families with 2 adults and 2 children enjoy reduced price tickets (carry a valid photo ID).

Your voucher will be emailed to you instantly.

Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the start time of your tour to avoid delays.
