I had a great experience visiting the pyramids today. My tour guide Youmna made me feel at ease from the minute I met her. She was very knowledgeable about the Egyptian history and very excited to share it with me and she kept the same pace all along the tour. At the end of the tour I felt that I learned so much about the history and culture of ancient Egypt

Last week

The tour guide was great as he made it easier to navigate all the buses going between the pyramids and Sphinx, but I felt like the tour was a bit rushed... on the website it said 3-4h, but it took us 2h maximum (we didn't go inside the pyramid, but I don't think that would occupy 2h). Explanation-wise about the pyramids and their construction, I felt like we got the bare minimum, which we could have gotten by just reading the signs at the entrance before entering the buses, so that wwas a bit disappointing.

Our tourguide was incredible and went above and beyond to make sure we learned, had time to do what we wanted, and understood how to get the best experience. She is so knowledgeable and answered all of my many questions with excitement! Now I wish we could be friends. :) highly recommend.
