It was a unique experience for us to see this live. Our son was very enthusiastic. The crowd was rather normal early (8:30). From midday onwards it gets fuller and you have to drink a lot and be careful, which I didn't like but I knew beforehand, the pushiness of the locals. The nice thing is that at the Pyramids Visitor Center (new entrance on the west side) buses take you to the points free of charge and you can simply get on or off. Otherwise it was a very nice, unique family experience.

Everyone from the entrance was very receptive. I asked questions and I got a map to help me and my friends navigate the pyramid. My highlight was the camel ride to see all 9 pyramids and the history that accompanied the ride. My camel ride tour Ramadan Mohammed should take his flowers - he was a wonderful and very detailed tour guide and photographer. I enjoyed interacting with new people from different countries. Overall, it was a day well enjoyed and a 24 dollar well spent.

I liked how easy the digital tickets are to get access to the pryamids. Inside wasn't as crowded as I imagined. I wish the signs to the pryamids were more clear because I was confused to which one was which. The shuttle buses to each pryamids provided easy access so you didn't have to walk so far. The new cafes and washrooms were nice. However, the washroom cost money which shouldn't be allowed.

The pyramids are a treat. The inside of the Khufu is OK..... not really worth the money they charge. Also, it's a steep climb for the elderly. Be prepared. The evening is a great time to see the pyramids with the sun creating interesting shadows. The Sphinx is a great photo place. Not to be missed... overall, totally woth the visit.

Everything worked fine with Headout! We booked the tickets one day in advance. We arrived at the Giza Plateau at 7:00 a.m. and it was perfect! We had breakfast at the Rooftop Bar 7000 and passed the entrance at 7:45! We entered the Cheops pyramid at 8:00 a.m. quasi alone! It was the perfect experience!

Honestly it was confusing . You said that I couldn't enter the Tutankhamun exhibition but you don't know what is happening at GEM . We had no problem entering this exhibition but were worried by the small print which said we had no entrance to this exhibition!!!!!

All three pyramids are relatively easily accessible and the crowds of tourists are fortunately well spread out across the site. It was annoying to be constantly asked whether you needed a camel, horse or a guide. Fortunately, there is the La - No.
  • Head out to the Giza Complex for an unforgettable self-paced exploration, skipping the ticketing lines and wandering the plateau at your own pace.

    • Surrounding monuments: Roam freely around the Valley Temple of Khafre, ancient causeways, and smaller tombs scattered across the Giza necropolis, gaining a broader sense of the site’s historic layout.

    • Photography opportunities: Snap pyramid silhouettes against the desert horizon, wide-angle group shots, and iconic camel-frame photos—perfect during golden-hour lighting.

    • Upgrades: Choose to enter the Great Pyramid for a rare chance to explore interior corridors leading to the King’s Chamber, or upgrade to a half-day guided tour with an expert guide and round-trip hotel transfers for a smoother, more informative visit.
