When we arrived to pick up our tickets, we were told to come back later. But when we got there, the tour had already started, and we weren’t given our tickets (they’d been forgotten), so we had to come back later with the guide. Other than that, it was perfect!

Our guide was excellent—she was inspiring and shared fascinating details and anecdotes about the castle’s history and its rulers. Wish her all the best. There were queues in several places, but they moved fairly smoothly overall. The main challenge was the narrow corridors and two-way traffic. Buying tickets online was easy, but on-site we would have appreciated clearer instructions on how things work and that we needed separate paper tickets, etc. The staff were helpful and friendly, but clearer guidance would significantly reduce their workload.

Please meet the representative with a blue and white umbrella in front of the main entrance to St. Vitus Cathedral, who will exchange your voucher for a ticket to the Prague Castle interiors.

Meet the representative at the corner of the Prague Castle complex's III courtyard next to the St. Vitus Cathedral. Look out for an open blue and white umbrella. It is strongly advised to enter the Prague Castle complex from the side entrance of the Pražský Hrad tram station.
