Main Entrance (Entrada Principal)
The Main Entrance is located on Rossio de Santa Clara, directly opposite the Santa Clara-a-Velha Monastery and near the Santa Clara Aqueduct. This is the only public entrance for all visitors, including ticket holders and those purchasing on-site. The entrance is fully wheelchair and stroller accessible, with step-free access, wide gates, and a gently sloping path leading into the park. Accessible ticket counters and restrooms are available just inside the entrance. Look for the Portugal dos Pequenitos sign and the miniature gatehouse for easy identification.
Regular Hours (March 1 – October 15): Open daily from 10:00am to 7:00pm.
Winter Hours (October 16 – February 28): Open daily from 10:00am to 5:00pm.
Last Entry: Ticket office closes 30 minutes before park closing time.
Special Closures: The park is closed on December 25 (Christmas Day) and January 1 (New Year’s Day). Hours may be adjusted for special events or maintenance—always check the official website before your visit.
