Plaza Premium Lounge Access at Hong Kong International Airport: Standard Lounge (Gate 1, 35, and 60)

The Plaza Premium Lounge near Gate 60, proved a wonderful respite to refresh and recharge whilst transiting through Hong Kong. Conveniently and easily located above the departure gates, we enjoyed wonderful food and drink options available, which included a nice array of GF options. The shower facilities were spotlessly clean and very refreshing…just what was needed on a long haul stopover. A gem if you’re looking for a quiet spot is the area directly behind the reception desk, which is separate from the main lounge area with a small number of tables/chairs and blissfully quite!

My daughter and I flew into Hong Kong from New York - a 16 hour flight. My husband booked us into the Plaza Premium lounge through Headout during our 5 hour layover so we could shower and eat before a 9 hour flight back to Australia. The shower facilities were really lovely. The food was adequate in the lounge but it was hard to find a spare seat as it was so busy. Also, there seemed to be a problem with our booking (my husband booked it through Headout at around the time we landed) and although we booked showers and were given an electronic disc that was supposed to alert us when the shower was ready, we both had to go up and ask as the discs did not activate. It was implied to us that booking through a third party was the issue. I'm not sure why as we registered when we arrived and were given shower times. Other than that, the shower was worth the money and it made the next leg home a lot more comfortable. We were also able to charge all our devices which was very handy.

Excellent airport lounge and well worth the $89 for three hours. The facilities were spotlessly clean and well maintained, including the shower and bathroom. The lounge itself was comfortable and relaxing, with attentive and friendly staff throughout. The food and bar area was particularly impressive, with an excellent range of Chinese dishes and a delicious soup freshly prepared by the kitchen staff. Great service, great food and a very comfortable place to relax between flights. I would definitely use this lounge again. These lounges are good value

The staff were all so nice and accomodating. It is my first time to experience a lounge, I was hesitant at first because it was kinda expensive but I didn't expect it was a big help to me with the long layovers. I was able to sleep, Shower and eat. The breakfast food selection was not much but I love their congee! The place was so neat, and it was all in all a good experience for me! Thank you for the wonderful customer service especially the reception area!

We arrived at 0840hrs on a Thursday. Comfy lounge area, multiple seating options. Food was delicious, especially the noodle soup. Western style breakfast cereal option if required. Showers were spotlessly clean. We waited about 40mins for one, which wasn't too bad as it was very busy. This was our first time using a generic airport lounge. We weren't disappointed.

My first experience in a lounge . The staff were so helpful on arrival , showed me around and organised a shower for me . The shower room was spotlessly clean .. The Lounge staff kept the relaxation area clean and free of dishes . altogether a great relaxing way to spend my time at the airport
