Visiting the Pablo Picasso Museum left me with the warmest and most vivid impressions! It’s not just an encounter with great art, but an incredibly inspiring journey for the whole family. The exhibition is curated so harmoniously that it captivates you from the very first moments. I was especially pleased by how comfortable and engaging the experience was for my child: the space is perfectly suited for a child’s first encounter with Cubism and Expressionism. It’s a real delight to see a child examining the shapes and colors with curiosity and trying to figure out the artist’s vision. The museum staff is incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is bright, imbued with creativity and artistic freedom. We left feeling deeply inspired and filled with a flood of emotions. The Picasso Museum in Málaga is definitely worth a visit. It is located in the beautiful historic Palacio de Buenavista, and the collection allows visitors to explore different stages of Picasso’s artistic career, from his early works to his later pieces. The museum has a wonderful atmosphere, is well organised, and is located right in the heart of the old town. A great place for both art lovers and anyone who wants to learn more about Picasso and his connection to Málaga. I truly recommend visiting this museum — it’s a wonderful experience and a must-see in Málaga!

An interesting museum for fans of Picasso and contemporary art. I visited for the sake of general cultural enrichment. He’s not “my” kind of artist. I liked the contemporary installations better, especially a certain “illuminated forest”—it was really beautiful. I felt like I was in a fairy tale.

We got in very quickly, picked up an audio guide—it was very easy to listen to—and everything went perfectly. The museum is magnificent; the archaeological hall, located downstairs, is especially worth a visit—it features excavations of an ancient city from the Phoenician era.

We still had to wait ca.10-15 Min., but this was not comparable if you show up without a ticket. The museum had some surprises for us, although the largest part of Picasso's work is not here.
