We got in very quickly, picked up an audio guide—it was very easy to listen to—and everything went perfectly. The museum is magnificent; the archaeological hall, located downstairs, is especially worth a visit—it features excavations of an ancient city from the Phoenician era.
    • Two sides of Málaga in one plan: Picasso’s work in the Buenavista Palace, then Andalusian flamenco performed live at Teatro Flamenco Málaga Club.
    • See works like Woman with Raised Arms and Musketeer with Sword, where forms stretch, break, and reassemble, alongside ceramics and sketchbooks inside a calm, courtyard-led space.
    • Inside the museum, you’ll also find Phoenician and Roman archaeological remains on the lower floor.
    • Watch flamenco up close, sharp footwork, live guitar, and vocals that build slowly, then hit hard, all in a small theatre where every movement lands.

There were paintings that his family let to be hung for us to see. And i always get inspired by picassos abstract paintings and also his sculptures. He also worked in different printing tecniques that was interesting.

Visiting the Picasso Museum today was a truly special experience for me. I was captivated from the very first moment. The atmosphere is unique, the exhibition is designed with great attention to detail, and Picasso’s works are presented in a fascinating and inspiring way. You can literally feel the passion for art in every room. I was particularly impressed by the flawless organization, the pleasant tranquility in the museum, and the warm friendliness of the entire staff. You feel welcome right away and can enjoy every moment to the fullest. I can wholeheartedly recommend this museum to everyone. Whether you’re already familiar with Picasso or are just discovering him—this place moves you, inspires you, and leaves a lasting impression. For me, it was one of the most wonderful experiences in Málaga. Many thanks to the entire team for this wonderful visit. I’d love to come back! Best regards, Irina Baidoshvili

The Picasso Museum in Malaga is well worth it. The beautilly curated collection follows a logical evolution of Picasso's work and technique(s) through the decades. A great sister museum to the Picasso Museum in Barcelona. The lines can be intimidating, but with a reservation for a specific time, I went right in. It takes a good hour to go thru the collection.

The museum is very well organized; with the headphones, you can listen to and understand everything in any language... and the numbers clearly indicate which rooms you should visit first!
