Pablo Picasso museum in Malaga was a very insightful visit. His life and art are displayed by themes and periods with clarity. The museum itself is a building worth cosoting and contemporary artists are intermingled with the permanent collection. Well worth the visit.

The Picasso Museum was great. It is just the right size, and easy to navigate. The audio guide was very helpful. The birthplace was also interesting, although hard to find. There are many cafes around so it was easy to find a place to eat.

Very nice museums with beatiful artwork from Picasso and also an exhibition of the Portugese artist Joana Vasconcelos. I already know her from an exhibition in Brussels some years ago, which was an extra surprise. Why not 5 stars ? Well because even the people with a ticket with a timeslot had to stand in line for 25 minutes to enter museo picasso. After all it was certainly worth waiting.

Interesting collections, well presented. Picasso's life timeline and changes of style are well explained. The Archeological underground floor is also a small treasure worth seeing. Picasso's births home collection and explanations (we took the audioguide) manage to bring you close to his passions, great symbols found in his work like the dove of peace

I enjoyed my visit to the museum very much especially the new look upon Picasso's lifelong varied artistic career as a coherent unity. I also liked the archaeological remains downstairs, and the beautiful building itself. This was my first vist to Malaga and I will definitely come back to this fantastic museum the next time I visit Andalucia/Malaga
