Combo (Save 21%): Andamanda Water Park + Phuket Fantasea Tickets

I recently visited a water park in Phuket with my wife, and overall the experience was excellent. The facilities were high quality, everything was well maintained, the staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was fun and energetic. It was clear that a lot of thought and investment went into the design and operation of the park. We spent the entire day enjoying the slides and pools and truly had a great time. However, one issue significantly affected the experience – the water policy. At the entrance, bags are checked and visitors are not allowed to bring in bottled water or outside food. While I can understand the business logic behind restricting outside food, prohibiting basic drinking water feels unreasonable. Inside the park, prices are extremely high, with a small bottle of water costing almost five times more than outside. In the intense heat of Phuket, where temperatures and humidity are very high, staying hydrated is essential, not a luxury. This pricing policy may cause some visitors to limit their water intake, which can easily lead to dehydration in such extreme weather conditions.

I would have given it 5 stars. The buffet was excellent with plenty of vegan food. The venue is spectacular and the show was entertaining. I just can't condone the use of the animals in the show and throughout the park. If I had known about this I would never have purchased tickets to support this.

We recently visited Andamanda Water Park in Phuket — here are our impressions! Overall impression The water park left us with positive emotions: the grounds are well-maintained, there is lots of greenery, and the atmosphere is conducive to relaxation. It is suitable for family vacations, including those with children of different ages. Service and amenities Pros: polite and attentive staff, ready to help in any situation; sufficient number of sun loungers (if you arrive early); a bracelet payment system inside the park (convenient for not having to carry cash). Cons: no food or drinks allowed (including water) — policy to combat plastic waste; limited number of tubes for the slides, which causes additional queues; few shaded areas — difficult to find shelter from the sun on a hot day. Food There are several cafes and food courts on the premises serving Thai and international cuisine. Prices are above average, but the food is delicious and fresh. Practical tips Come at opening time (10:00 a.m.) — this way you will have time to ride all the slides without long queues. Bring SPF 50 sunscreen and a hat: even in the shade, you can get sunburned. If you plan to eat and drink a lot, budget for additional expenses — prices inside the park are higher than outside. Conclusion Andamanda is a good water park for a day trip. It is not the largest in the region, but it offers enough entertainment for the whole family. If you arrive early and plan your day wisely, you will have a bright and positive experience.
