Easy to get our tickets through Headout, fast delivery and good description. Choosing to visit Quinta da Regaleira first and then walk the path to Pena Palace was a good idea, but you need to set aside some time for that hike because there are many meters of elevation difference between the two places. We chose to go into the park at Pena first and walk for a while in it before using our booked time to Pena Palace. Both Regaleira and Pena Palace were definitely worth visiting, very exciting and beautiful architecture and the view from Pena is magnificent. After finishing the visit, we chose to walk back down to Sintra to take the train back to Lisbon. In summary, it was a very successful day but many spectacular views and interesting architecture.

The tickets we had no problem to enter the palace of the penalty then we walked around there were many people and everything went well we went up in uber is the most advisable and the cheapest for those who want to return or go see anything use uber buses are very expensive gasoline here is also very expensive also refuel in Spain before entering Portugal on this occasion there has been no problem with the tickets but in this same application I went to another palace with guide and audio guide and I could not download the radio guide and there was no guide and there was nothing at all I could only enter but yes without problems with the tickets but this time as I had not hired the highway or the tour guide everything went perfect.

I know I heard from some that Pena Palace is a little "overrated" but I couldn't disagree more. Sure, it isn't as old as some of Portugals other landmarks and castles. But, the experience I had exploring and especially on top of the big balcony (which you just buy these tickets to enter the interior and therefore also the grand balcony) was a spiritual experience that almost brought tears to my eyes because of how amazing the view was from up top. A special place, which amazing views and amazing architecture. Also, fascinating was the valuables, personal items, and rooms staged from the times of the Kings who called this palace their home. Absolute must for any history buff.

Both sites are easy to visit. For La Quinta, you need to arrive 30 minutes early to gain access to the site 15 minutes early. For Pena, it's possible to enter the park before ticket time. In October, there are plenty of visitors, but the queues move quickly and smoothly. The views from both sites are breathtaking, and the architecture memorable. Online tickets are easy to buy and very useful for preserving the planet without printing.

Pena Palace truly is an amazing and historical place to visit. Be sure to book entry tickets beforehand to avoid delays and queues. Although there is a paid shuttle bus that takes you up to the palace, there are still steep walks that may not be suitable for people with mobility issues. Otherwise the palace and surrounding parkland/gardens is spectacular and a must see experience

At first Headout was the only company that had offers, that's why I chose it, the process of buying the ticket was simple. The experience was very good, you get very stressed until you get to the place because of the visiting hours, once there everything was pleasant. There were a lot of people but along the tour it was dissipating. Beautiful. Sintra a place of dreams.

We arrived to the palace 15 minutes early and the que was very long, felt we couldn't enjoy the palace as much because we felt rushed by people behind and it felt like a conveyor belt.wanted to take pictures in the rooms but felt I had to keep going for people behind me,was really upsetting because I was so looking forward to visiting this glorious place.
  • Dive into the history of Lisbon with entry to 3 iconic landmarks: Jerónimos Monastery, Belém Tower, and Pena Palace with this super-saver combo ticket. With an upgrade, you can also include multilingual audio guides for all three sites to enhance your visit.

    Jerónimos Monastery

A historic church built to commemorate Vasco Da Gama's voyage to India, Jerónimos Monastery is a stunning model of Manueline architecture incorporating Gothic, Moorish, and Renaissance styles. The two levels of cloisters are so structurally detailed that they took a hundred years to be completed! See mythical creatures like gargoyles and marine animals within the carvings, columns, and arches. Tiled decorations on the walls depict important Biblical stories. In the courtyard garden, you will find hedges cut in the shape of various Portuguese coats of arms and a large decorative fountain.

After you have explored the monastery to its fullest, head next door to the imposing Belém Tower.

    Belém Tower

The tower has long been a symbol of Portugal’s history, culture, and heritage. Officially called the ‘Tower of Saint Vincent’ in honor of Lisbon’s patron saint, this 16th-century fortification has kept a watchful eye on the city over the centuries. Keep an eye out for crosses of the Order of Christ, twisted ropes that wind around the building ending in elegant knots, armillary spheres, and other Gothic features. The Tower consists of four stories that you can explore: the Governor's Room, Kings' Room, Audience Room, and the vaulted chapel.

National Palace of Pena and Park

The impressive Palace is perched atop a rocky peak - the 2nd highest vantage point on the Sintra Hills. We recommend you pull out your cameras and snap away! After you take in the ravishing views from the Tagus River to the Atlantic Ocean, go through both wings of the palace. Each one is ringed with an architectural structure of a castle, and decked with battlements, watchtowers, and a drawbridge. End your tour at the magnificent Pena Park, embellished with quaint pavilions, meandering paths, and stone benches.

Upgrade your tickets and enjoy roundtrip shuttle transfers between the Pena Park gate and the Pena Palace. It is best for travelers looking for convenience and a way to skip the 20-minute walk.
