Went with my sister and it was just SOOO pretty. Flowers everywhere, colors like WOAH. We had to queue for a bit to get in, but honestly didn’t mind bc the garden was worth it. Snapped a ton of pics (can’t take any inside Monet's bedroom tho—heads up). Our guide was chill, kinda funny. Sun was blazing so bring water & a hat (my sister forgot, now she's a tomato). Would def go again, maybe try spring next time.

This was my DREAM. The garden is out of this world. Went early and had some quiet before the busloads arrived. Staff were friendly, even gave tips on secret photo spots. Bit hard to get wifi for the audioguide, so maybe print a map ahead?

Took my two kids (aged 8 and 10) and they LOVED it. Brought sketchbooks and they drew flowers for ages. The pond with the lilies is just like the painting. Had ice cream at the cafe after, bit pricey but yum. Would recommend for families.

LOVED every minute. The pond is just as beautiful as in Monet’s paintings. Staff were helpful, even helped me find the restroom (not super obvious).

Got lucky with the weather, sunny but not too hot. Short walk from parking, but bring comfy shoes. Guide was knowledgable, pointed out Monet’s fav plants.
  • Enjoy a day trip to the charming village of Giverny, where you can fully immerse yourself in the impressionist art movement with a visit to Claude Monet’s estate and priority entry to the Impressionisms Museum. Stroll through the lush gardens, a primary source of inspiration for some of Monet’s most famous artworks.

Learn more about Monet’s life as you roam through his pink-plastered house, where he lived and worked for 43 years. Explore the leading room, larder, and the artist’s studio, as well as the bright yellow dining room, which has been reconstructed down to the very last detail with earthenware dishes and a blue-tiled kitchen.

Learn about the origins of Impressionism, how Monet was at the forefront of this art movement, and how his unique style influenced both his contemporaries and the generations that followed.

Finally, head to “Au Coin du P’aintre,” a traditional French bakery, for a gourmet snack break, after which you are free to explore Giverny on your own. Visit Monet’s grave and the Sainte-Radegonde Church, both located near the bakery, or simply enjoy your time strolling through the charming village until you reconvene at the bus to drive back to Paris.
