It was definitely worth my time!!! Sugar loaf was a sugar rush exciting experience!!! I love how organised, kind and courteous the guides were. It is wonderful place to spend the day with family and luckily I was with my sister. The location has the cleanest public rest rooms I have seen on such tourist site so far. Definitely enjoyed my time Christ the Redeemer was a spectacular treat, I will definitely return with my family as much as I can. Catholics would definitely appreciate the confession station. It also so beautiful to watch the sunset from the top.

Getting there was quick and easy; there’s always some doubt about whether it’s real or not, and in this case, we decided to take a chance to save a little money. A really nice experience—be sure to buy tickets online, though, and have them handy on your phone, since they’ll ask for them at each stop. The views and the atmosphere are fantastic. The best part is the sunset and seeing the beautifully lit river at night. The lines on the way back are long, but they move quickly. It’s totally worth it!!

Pregnant women and guests with severe mobility or heart conditions should consult a doctor before booking due to altitude and walking requirements.

Christ the Redeemer

Boarding point: Rua Cosme Velho, 513 – Cosme Velho.

Getting there: The Corcovado Train departs from Cosme Velho Station, located about 30 minutes by car from central Rio areas such as Copacabana, Ipanema, and Flamengo.

Avoid driving your own car since there is no parking nearby. Use a taxi, Uber, or public bus to reach the station.

The selected time slot is for the train going up to the Statue; the exact departure time will be confirmed on your boarding pass. Arrive at the station at least 30 minutes before your scheduled time for a smooth boarding experience.

Note: Trains depart approximately every 30 minutes. Priority boarding applies only to the uphill train; return transfers are on a first-come, first-served basis. So, plan your return accordingly.

Sugarloaf Mountain

Cable cars run every 20 minutes or when full, holding up to 65 guests per cabin.

Good things come to those who wait, so please expect a considerable wait time before your experience begins.

This ticket does not include guided tours or transportation to the cable car station. Guests must arrange their own travel.
